Lifted Church exists to raise up and equip disciples who are rooted in Christ, participating in a community of believers, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
We are a community rooted and grounded in Jesus. His person and presence is the center of all that we do. As His body, we are standing in the finished work of the Gospel. We have an obsession to point people to nothing but Jesus and to be unmoved from Jesus. We are fascinated with Him. We gather around Him and in His name. He is the head, we are the body. He is the groom and we are the bride. He is King, we are His people. We are on a journey together to conform to His likeness and be renewed in the grace of God and truth.
We unapologetically pursue the move of the Spirit and His manifest presence and power in all we do. As we preach Jesus and lift Him up above everything, we believe the Holy Spirit will move and confirm the gospel with miracles, signs, and wonders. The Christian life is meant to be so much more than a doctrinal statement or a concept; it’s a relationship where we experience the Living God in our midst. We are committed to listening and obeying the leading of the Spirit as we expect the power of God in our gatherings and through our city.
We are in the midst of a Reformation in the church! God is releasing a new form and expression of how we gather as the Body Of Christ. We feel the passionate heart of God beating for His bride to come into full maturity. He longs for His people to move from spectators to participators. We have a vision for house churches throughout the city where every believer can connect, participate and grow as a disciple of Jesus. We are committed to seeing believers mature in Christ and lead others into the same. We aren’t about a perfect service, but a growing community meeting in His name. We see the growth and development of people as the means to any transformation and impact! Instead of developing programs, we have a passion to develop and equip people who are rooted and conformed to Jesus and carry Him in their neighborhoods and workplaces.
